Relationship managers in banking are responsible for providing products and services to a portfolio of customers, to help them achieve their business goals. At the same time, they help achieve the bank’s business plan, while meeting the required ethical, risk and governance standards. This apprenticeship prepares and qualifies employees for this role.

Those who want to work in junior or mid-level relationship management positions.
What will they learn?
The content of the apprenticeship depends on the individual’s career path. They might want to work in one of several areas of the bank – such as corporate, commercial, retail banking, wealth management, private banking or card services. They might be responsible for a portfolio of SMEs or support a director working with larger customers.
