This apprenticeship develops the skills needed to work at a senior level in the insurance industry.
Who is it for?
This standard covers a wide range of roles including internal facing ‘operational management’ and externally focussed ‘client management’. All roles will require very strong technical competence, with the ability to apply this to a variety of scenarios depending on the size, specialism and business model of the company.

Assessment
- CII Advanced Diploma exams
- When the apprentice is assessed at the end (‘end-point assessment’), they must demonstrate their competence against the defined learning outcomes through two methods of assessment – a case study test and a structured interview. To pass the apprenticeship, the apprentice must pass both of these.
